Going Dutch, Trials of a Wage Slave, first video

I wrote "Going Dutch, Trials of a Wage Slave" after a lifetime of working in various industries.

It would be great to say that all employers are created equal and give their employees decent benefits, good working conditions, and pay them what they're worth.

Unfortunately, the employee, to many companies, is one of the most disposable of assets.

After all, there are plenty of people out on the street who will do the job for less.

If a company made an investment in training someone, why would they throw the employee's abilities and work experience out the door?

Too often it's a matter of short-term 'cost savings'. All done to boost the bottom line, impress investors and raise the stock price. Maybe the boss considers the employee a threat to their position.

In the end, the company usually has problems, but management is rarely to blame.

As long as the investors and upper management get to bail out with a profit, it doesn't matter that the employees lost their jobs and sometimes, their pensions.

My Dutch Court Judgment Against O'Neil & Associates of Dayton, Ohio

I'm going to be uploading videos and photos about my attempts to enforce the Dutch court judgment I received against my former employer, O'Neil & Associates, Inc of Dayton, Ohio. I'm doing this as a public service.

It's my opinion, based on my experiences working with O'Neil & Associates, Inc. that this company needs to be investigated by the United States government. My research has included speaking with former employees who were harassed, intimidated and discriminated against by this company.

This is a company that does Department of Defense work. They are being paid with American tax dollars. It's time to ask our government to check into this company's operations.

To follow is a copy of the monthly billing that I send O'Neil & Associates, Inc of Dayton, Ohio.

As you can see, at this time this billing is for $240,974.52 US Dollars. This is the billing for the month of January 2017.

Colbert Nation vs Amazon Bezos

Oh boy, now they've done it.

Amazon has picked a fight with known authors, like J.K. Rowling and Stephen Colbert.

What were they thinking?

It was OK when they were not recognizing (and paying royalties to)  minor players or even lesser authors like yours' truly, but going after a major power player like J.K. Rowling?

Woe unto thee Mr. Bezos.

Have you crossed the line into territory where you'll not win?

This is going to be interesting, to say the least.

Too bad we can't get the poor workers at Amazon to realize just how bad they're being treated and do something about it.

Mr. Bezos and company may have bitten off more than they can chew this time.

Don't Tread on Me

Life is full of surprises.

I try to be polite when dealing with people I don't know. You never know who they might be or what they're up to.

Unfortunately, we have a few people on this planet who haven't adjusted their attitudes to calm, they're too busy bullying others. It's obvious in the current relationships that some countries have with the USA. Everyone is jockeying for position, trying to be the controlling factor.

Power is an elusive quantity. it comes in many forms, from economic to military to spiritual. Money, might and doing right. All can be corrupted.

At this time, money has been a defining factor for many groups to use to wield power. It's a fluid item, able to be flowed where the most good, from the point of view of those using it, can be done. The most good for their agenda, not necessarily the good of the rest of the community, be it local or worldwide.

Down through the ages, there has been a much more powerful force that money. It's been a factor in shaping the world we now have because it's timeless.

That's the power of the word.

I found that out yesterday when someone tried to pick a fight with me.

He evidently felt that he could threaten to beat me up and I'd just cower and fold.

I told him one thing, to get the point across.

"No."

He was surprised, but he backed off and left the property.


"No"

It's what we need to tell the people who've manipulated the news, the government and information outlets that they're now using to further agendas for their personal power groups.

We had a flag in this country many years ago. It had a simple motto:

Don't Tread on Me"

Ivory Tower Ignorance

You have to hand it to the news media. When they 'go to an expert' they try and pick a good one. This CNN article is correct, but it misses the point. Check out the link:

Here's my comment, don't know if CNN will post it:

More 'Ivory Tower' ignorance. Sure, all of his statements about government action/inaction are correct. The problem is that when people aren't working, they aren't paying taxes. The 'New Deal' had to create jobs before this country started to pull out of the Great Depression. You can 'create' all the credit, etc. you want, without work, you don't have product. People have to eat, have a roof over their heads and contribute to the country through their job before any of the banks, etc.really matter. All markets are based on product, not credit or paper!

Further thoughts on the situation;

It all comes back to tangible assets.

You don't acquire 'tangible assets' without work of some kind or being able to pay for them. Every market is based on either goods, property or a commodity. Goods (cars, boats, appliances, clothes, etc.), property (houses, buildings, real estate, etc.) and commodities (grain, livestock, minerals, etc.) have value dependent on demand. When demand is down, the value goes down.

Credit is based on the repayment ability of the person, company or government. It's determined by a risk factor. Good risk, then good credit. Bad risk, bad credit rating and then your 'perceived' value drops.

The current economic crisis is being solved by giving to the banks money that's going to be hard to produce, unless it's printed by the government. This will cause inflation, as it will take more money to buy any product, regardless of it's value. The government should be spending money on job creation, which produces taxes and spending on goods, commodities and housing.

This economic crisis isn't over by a long shot, it's just the beginning of the end game for many institutions.
